The Rail Journey

I was coming back to Bangalore from my native Erode on 23rd February 2009, in Intercity Express. That’s after a four day vacation, it was my usual routine but this time the journey was bit special. There were around some seven to eight kids in my compartment and it was their games and childish things which attracted everyone.

I almost slept after getting into the train till Salem. Then I realized there were kids running here and there, and woke up to see their activities. Mine was the window seat and I was enjoying the nature outside and kids inside. They were so adorable and cute. There were lot of cries and smiles, but it was all attractive. The whole compartment was eying these kids and no one really knew how much of time passed. When the train reached Bangalore everyone wondered why the journey ended so soon.
